Our gardens

Présentation

Premiere scheduled for March 2027

For this new work, we want to talk about what shapes us, about the passage of time through a life, but not just any life. The life of Raymond, Colette, Émile, Lucienne, Jojo, your grandfather, your grandmother, or perhaps your own life, our own lives… soon…

These questions about our own condition will be explored through the life of an elderly person.

We will observe her in her garden, living a day that is both unique and ordinary. Certain actions and objects will be triggers that will take us on a journey through time to remember her great loves as well as her forgotten little details.

This elderly person will be the main character in the play, and our great challenge will be to create a role that is central but that she can learn in two days. To do this, the artists on stage will be able to play both important characters in her life and the person herself at different ages.

We want this circus creation to be acrobatic and gentle, danced and sensitive, evocative but not narrative, cinematic but not melodramatic, universal and unique, aesthetic and realistic, reflective but accessible.
